About Me
Dr. Erik Johnson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, bringing specialized expertise in the treatment of ankle, elbow, knee and shoulder conditions. He has dedicated his career to helping patients of all activity levels restore function, reduce pain and return to the activities they love.
Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and went on to earn his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He then trained at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he completed a combined residency in orthopaedic and general surgery, before pursuing advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He holds certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery including a Sports Subspecialty Certificate.
