About Me

Iva W. Foster is a nurse practitioner certified in Adult Gerontology Acute Care. She spent eight years as a critical care registered nurse in multiple ICU settings, where she was inspired by her patients and colleagues to pursue an advanced practice degree. She is passionate about cardiovascular care in both the acute care and continuity of care settings, and her goal is to create trust and meaningful connections with patients while providing meticulous medical treatment.

Iva received her MSN from the University of South Carolina at Columbia. Prior to her advanced practice training, she earned her BSN from Appalachian State University and a BS in Exercise Science from Elon University. Through her educational and professional experiences, she has become passionate about incorporating exercise and wellness into medical practice.

In her free time, Iva enjoys practicing yoga, HIIT training, nurturing rescue dogs and keeping up with NFL and NCAA football.
